Crowdfunding smashes target

The Warrington Town crowdfunding page on JustGiving has smashed through its initial target of £10,000.
Former club chairman Gary Skentelbery brought up the milestone with his donation on Thursday.
The crowdfunder is to remain open for another 10 days to enable further donations.
All monies raised will go towards plugging the estimated £70,000 hole in the club’s finances caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent early end to the season and closure of the social club and other club facilities.
