McCarten departs Yellows

Jay McCarten will leave Warrington Town after agreeing a deal with City of Liverpool FC in the BetVictor N/West Division.
The long-serving centre half and former captain was the only player left at the club who played in both the FA Cup victory over Exeter City in 2014 and the Northern Premier League First Division North title-winning campaign in 2015-16.
McCarten made over 250 appearances for the Yellows, and everyone at the club would like to send their best wishes to Jay.
